Competing alongside six shortlisted competitors from across the Maritimes, MatthewMacKenzie accepted the top prize at this year's BioInnovation Challenge for his invention Paraglide, a wheelchair repositioning device that will shift people in their wheelchairs from a seated position to an upright position at the touch of a button.
